Our Staff
Queens Academy has an experienced and dedicated group of teachers and administrators. Each teacher strives to create
a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere to encourage students to participate. Our class sizes are smaller than the
traditional "large" high schools. This enables teachers to work with students one-on-one, helping to insure that every student
is able to experience success.
At Queens academy High School, we look at all aspects of student work in determining grades. While tests are,
and will remain important, they are not the only window to student academic achievement. This is why our teachers maintain
a portfolio for each student. Samples of student work may be added by teachers or students. These portfolios provide an in-depth
look at how well our students are mastering the rigorous curriculum that is offered here at QAHS.
