Art allows our students to express their creativity.  Many of our students have exceptional artistic talents.

Art Instruction at the Flushing Campus and Jamaica campuses is being provided by Ms. Jaclyn Marencin.

Hello,

My name is Jackie Marencin and this is my third year teaching at Queens Academy High School. I am a traveling teacher and work at both the Flushing and Jamaica Campuses. I am currently Foundations of Drawing, where we focus on the elements of art but not limited to: line shape, texture, value and color. I also teach a 3-D Design course, which is very hands on. Students learn how to construct 3-D pieces of artwork. I very strongly believe in the healing powers of art and hope students are able to find joy in creating art. as an artist, I am very interested in contemporary art, street art, tattoos, sewing, building and creating. I look forward to a great relationship at Queens Academy High School. If you have any questions feel free to email me at: Jaclyn.marencin@gmail.com Thank you.
